Markus has been an integral part of the German fintech scene since his time as CEO of fintech company Penta. He was the one who prepared and managed the start-up’s strategic exit worth 200 million euros, but he has been involved in digitalization and new business models in banking for much longer. After eight years at McKinsey, he worked at Deutsche Bank from 2008 to 2020, where he was most recently Chief Digital Officer and a member of the Management Board of the Private and Corporate Clients Bank. Markus acts as an advisor and supervisory board member for various companies. He is also a member of the Digital Advisory Board at our partner Eintracht Frankfurt.
